WhereIliveinMelbourneAustraliawearejustemergingfromoursecondlockdown that started in July itwas long and toughalmostallourusualamenitieswereclosedincluding:non-essentialshops/gyms/restaurants/cafes (takeawayonly)/cinemas/museums/zoos, no visitors allowed in our homes thelistgoeson.

Asweemergefromthislockdownlifeisstartingtoreturntoa 'new'normal.WearestillinthestageofliftingrestrictionsslowlyandtheplanisthiswillcontinueuntilXmaswhenwehopetohavea 'covidnormalXmas'.

TodayIattendedmyveryfirstexerciseclassinpersononsiteatmystudioitwasareformerpilatesclassandIcouldn'tstopsmilingatwhatusedtofeellike justanexerciseclass (Isometimesdreadedbutknewitwasgoodforme)todayfeltlikealuxury.Ihavebeendoingmatpilatesonmybedroomfloorformonthsandmonthswhichhasbeengreatbuttherewasnothinglikethefeelingofbeinginthesameroomastheinstructorandotherparticipantsasopposedtobeingonascreen.

IhavetosaythoughasamumoftwosmallkidsIdolovetheconvenienceofdoingclassesfromhome.So aswere-enterthisnewworldweliveinpre-vaccineIintendtokeepupmyzoomexercisewhileenjoyingtheoccasionalonsiteclass.

Ihavealsofoundthatbothmyselfandfamilyhavereallyenjoyedtheslowerpaceoflife,aslifestartstogobacktonormalIfindmyselfrushingaroundagainwith10,000onmyto-dolist.Iamnowpausingandremindingmyselfofthosequietermomentswerecentlyexperiencedandtryingtoincorporatethemintoourlives.
