What products do you sell?
We proudly sell high-quality swimwear that provides full coverage and comes with SPF50+ protection. Our collection includes swim dresses in three different lengths: short, long, and extra long, swim tops, swim skirts with the option for inbuilt leggings or shorts, swim leggings, swim crop tops, swim turban and swim hijab as well as girls swimwear for 6-12 year olds.
For those desiring more coverage, we have swimming leggings, 3/4 swimming leggings, and swimming shorts that can be worn under our dresses or swimming tops. You can purchase swimming dresses and tops separately or as sets with various options like full-length black swimming leggings, 3/4 black swimming leggings, or black swimming shorts. Additionally, tops can be paired with swimming skirts or swimming leggings.
What material is used to make the swimwear?
Our swimwear is crafted from high-quality material composed of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. This fabric blend is durable, comfortable, quick-drying, and machine washable. To provide you with added sun protection, we apply an SPF50+ coating to block out 98% of the sun's harmful rays.

What are your shipping charges?
We offer free worldwide shipping for orders over $99 AUD. For Australian orders under $99 AUD, there is a flat rate shipping fee of $8.95, while international orders under $99 have a flat rate fee of $19.95. All packages are shipped with tracking through Australia Post.

What do I wear under my swim dress and set?
When it comes to wearing something under your swim dress and set, Modest Mermaid suggests either a one-piece or two-piece bathing suit. We have also created a crop set specifically designed to be worn seamlessly under their swimwear. Alternatively, you can purchase the crop top or bottoms separately.
Does the swimwear have built in support?
Modest Mermaid swimwear does not have built-in bust support. We believe that different bust sizes require different levels of support, so we give customers the control to choose what works best for them. However, we do offer a crop set, crop top, and bottoms with some removable padding in the crop top for those who prefer an easy-to-wear option.
Do you have a girls range?
Modest Mermaid has girls' range called Modest Mermaid Unicorn, catering to girls aged 6-12 years. This provides age-appropriate, cute, comfortable, and sun-smart options for young girls. For girls over 12 they can buy from our womens swimwear range which starts at a size 8 womens.

How do I look after my swimwear?
To care for your swimwear, it is recommended to always rinse it with cold water after use and let it air dry or line dry. The swimwear is machine washable with like colors, but a cold hand rinse is considered best.
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
Modest Mermaid accept exchanges for size changes and returns on any faults with the item within 14 days of receipt of product, subject to the below conditions:
Customers are responsible for paying for the return shipping postage to Modest Mermaid and we will send the exchanged product back to the customer free of charge.
