We sell full coverage swimwear for women size 6-20, including swim dresses, swim tops, swim skirts, swim leggings, shorts, board shorts, bikini tops, bikini bottoms, one-piece swimwear, sarongs, swim turbans, swim hijabs, and girls’ swimwear for ages 6–16.
What material is used to make the swimwear?
Our swimwear is made from 80% nylon and 20% spandex. It is soft, comfortable, quick-drying, and machine washable. It also has SPF50+ protection.

We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and we ship worldwide.
What are your shipping charges?
We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over $149 AUD. For orders under $149 AUD, shipping is $9.95 within Australia and $19.95 for international orders.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Delivery time depends on where you live and whether you choose standard or express shipping.

How do I make sure I order the right size?
To help you choose the right size, Modest Mermaid provides a size chart on each product page. We recommend using our general size guide above, as our swimwear sizing is based on standard women’s clothing sizes. The size you usually wear in clothing is the best guide when selecting your swimwear.
What do I wear under my swim dress and set?
You can wear a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit underneath. We also sell crop tops and bottoms that are made to wear under our swimwear.
Does the swimwear have built in support?
Most styles do not have built-in bust support. This gives you the option to wear your own swim or sports bra. Some styles do include support.Do you have a girls range?
Yes. We have a girls' range, for ages 6–16.
What are the benefits of full coverage swimwear?
Our swimwear gives you more coverage, sun protection, comfort, and confidence. It is also designed to look stylish and flattering.
How do I look after my swimwear?
Rinse it in cold water after use and let it air dry. You can also machine wash it with similar colours.
Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Yes. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned within 14 days of delivery
Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
To Initiate a Return or Exchange:
Please use the Return Portal located in the footer of our website. Once your return is approved, a prepaid return shipping label will be emailed to you.
Please note: A $10 fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of return shipping for Australian customers and $25 feefor overseas customers.
How do I track my order?
We will email you a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can use this number to track your parcel through Australia Post.
