After having my first baby, I found myself feeling completely daunted by the idea of getting back into swimwear. My body had changed, and I wanted more coverage — but I still wanted to feel stylish, feminine and confident.

I couldn’t find swimwear that gave me the coverage I was looking for, so I decided to create it myself. And that’s how Modest Mermaid was born.
